What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
Our website collects two types of personal data: analytics usage data and form data submitted by users. The analytics data includes IP address, location data and browsing habits. Form data may include name, email address, business name, IP address and any other written information users provide.
We use analytic usage data to determine site usage trends and help us make informed marketing decisions. We may also use analytics data to inform paid advertising campaigns.
Form data is used to gather information from potential clients about their business and website needs. We use forms to collect feedback from existing clients about past projects performance, as well as to subscribe to our informational email newsletter. We also use a form for gathering client account login information.
Cookies
Google Analytics also uses cookies to store user information such as location and browsing history. Please read more in the Analytics section of our privacy policy.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Analytics
Our website collects usage data via Google Analytics. Google Analytics records e.g. data showing from which website a data subject has come to a website, which pages of the website were accessed or how often and how long a page was viewed. Website analysis is used mainly for the optimization of a website and for a cost-benefit analysis of Internet adverting.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information about your use of our website generated by the Google Analytics cookie is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google might disclose these personal data collected via the technical procedure to third parties.
You may prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly, but you might then not be able to fully use all functions of our website. A cookie left behind by Google Analytics may be erased at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
Additional information and the applicable privacy policy of Google may be downloaded from https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en_US and from https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/ . Google Analytics is explained in more detail under this link: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not share any data submitted through our site with any third-parties. All data submitted through the site, stays on the site or is deleted.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Form submissions will be kept indefinitely for reference purposes. Site analytics will also be kept indefinitely to establish usage trends. Submissions to the ‘Secure Share’ form will be deleted within 30 days.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on our site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
